A big ole Rio I named Tank

Poster: Scott07 (see this users gallery) I was out scouting for about 6 days before the turkey opener, and filmed this big ole Rio I named Tank. I had made a plan to use a full strut decoy, and a laying hen,as he was obviously the king of this field. It worked perfect! a little calling, and he ran in and proceeded to whoop my full strut decoy! I love it when a plan comes together. Notice the Ivory color of the tips, instead of the dark brown usually found on a Rio. I let my brother shoot him, but I just had to take this photo with him. What a beautiful Rio!
